Cinemasochistic Theater: The Bay

I’m sittin’ on the dock of the bay
Watching giant parasites eat my family
Ooo, I’m just sittin’ on the dock of the bay
about to die – Otis Redding.

Hello internerds on the internet, this week I bring you The Bay. I watched this with my wife and three of my best friends, joking about the movie is the only way we made it through this piece of “cinema”.

“Chaos breaks out in a small Maryland town after an ecological disaster occurs. The Bay is a 2012 American horror film shot in the “found footage” style, directed by Barry Levinson and written by Michael Wallach.”

I read that this movie got a lot of positive reviews, those people must be really easy to scare because this movie was lame. Yes, killer parasites are pretty scary, but not in this flick.

I would go on about The Bay, but I won’t, you should watch our 2nd movie of the night Silver bullet starring Gary Busey and Corey Haim. “A werewolf terrorizes a small city where lives Marty Coslaw, – a paralytic boy – his uncle and his sister – the narrator of the story. ”

Great movie and it’s based on a Steven King story, any movie with Gary Busey is gonna be awesome. So, watch Silver Bullet and avoid The Bay. Hopefully, the next movie I review will be better. I promise it will be!

Stay nerdy my friends.
